GET GONE
The Beginning of an End to a Beginning
by Eduardo

   Monday 12:53

Drizzle and dull that's today, the sunshine has all blown away and too wet to go out to play.
Briefly saw Eliza this morning, just long enough for her to ask for some money as she is off to the city again for lunch and meeting someone.
Liam just looked at me and said.
"Why don't you just tell her Dad. Use her own money."
I looked at him and smiled. "Peace has a price son and its only a few more days. Do you really want to start a war?"
"No." He laughed back, "its not worth it dad."
He made a bacon and egg sandwich for us both, then we set off to Feltham to see if anything was open. The car boot sale was washed out and most shops closed for the bank holiday, so we just drove back home listening to music and chatting.
He asked again about Evelyn and when she will be coming back to get the house right again. I said I would email her this week and ask her.   He is as concerned about the state of the home as much as I and we would both like to see it homely and gleaming again.

We noticed mum had been mine sweeping again when we used the bathroom. The lovely seashell collection from Africa was gone and other bits and pieces.  So we immediately removed the really nice display picture from the wall and the kitchen clock and hid them away in the granny flat.  I went looking in her recent box for the shells but that was sealed, but did find she had wrapped up the heavy dragon door stop.  So that immediately came out and hidden.  Some saucepans and pirex dishware disappeared yesterday and the steamer is next. So I guess it will take a while for Liam and I until we get the kitchen sorted.

Just seen Eliza taking the big roll of bubble wrap indoors, so her visit to the city was short and sweet.  Liam has just come in a says mums upset with him.  Apparently she had started saying how dad's karma was bad and I would be hitting people soon, and if it got too much he could come and stay with her.  So Liam just told her she had lost it and acting crazy.  He should have known better as even a hint of crazy and she literally goes crazy.
Where on earth this new concept that I will be hitting people came from I don't know!  Maybe from her friend in the city, I don't know, but her head is getting more and more full of illusion that's for sure.
She's upstairs now, packing up the prayer room.  Fully convinced no doubt, that tomorrow the whole world will concentrate on Eliza and the contracts will be signed, removal men will instantly have availability and it will all happen just like that!  Reality is that bank transfers take a couple of days and removal men cannot be booked until the agent gives a day.
Believe me though, if it can be done in twenty four hours, I shall make it happen.
Especially if she is getting to seeing evil in me now, as that how it usually goes with her.  First she gets upset with someone because she is not getting what she wants.  Then she starts seeing bad in them, even if its not there. Then of course the devils appear and they become evil people capable of heinous acts and deleted from her list. I've seen it happen so many times to so many people. I think I even wrote way back, that I expected to be going the same way eventually.

Liam's just text me and asked if we can go out for drive somewhere.   I text back yeah, as it must be hard for him indoors trying to enjoy being home and all he hears or sees is Eliza wrapping things up.   Why the hell she could not wait until tomorrow when he's gone to school?  As usual, she cannot see how her actions unsettle others, neither has she ever cared.  Whenever it comes to something she wishes to do, then everyone, even the Buddha, takes a back row.
When I went in to meet Liam and get the car keys, she was on the phone as usual to someone, Valencia I believe.  Looks like Liam mentioned the maids taboo name, something about how he will be a lot happier when mum goes and the maid comes back and the home is happy again.
Eliza is really turning him against her, despite me trying to smooth waters with him and pointing out he must keep respecting his mum.  He is starting to experience the unwanted feeling from her desertion and I can tell its hurting him.  He knows full well why she's leaving, without a single explanation necessary from me and he is very confused by her actions and possibly, starting to wish she would get gone more than me.
He's got sats this week and I hope this does not upset his pass rate too much.

Just tucked him up in bed, came down had a shower and went to bed myself, for a very sound undisturbed sleep.
